Cheat Guitar Hero V

Cheat mode At the main menu, select "Options", "Cheats", "Enter New Cheat", then enter one of the following codes to unlock the corresponding cheat option. If you entered the code correctly, a message will appear.

Unlock All Characters Press Blue(2), Green(2), Red, Green, Red, Yellow.

Auto Kick Press Yellow, Green, Red, Blue(4), Red. This mode automatically plays the bass pedal for the drummer. Alternately, hit 200 non-cymbal notes on the "Mirror People" song at the Angel's Crypt venue as a drummer. Note: Fills do not count towards the total.

Always Slide Press Green(2), Red(2), Yellow, Blue, Yellow, Blue. This mode turns all guitar notes (not chords) into touch pad sliding notes connected by purple lines. Alternately, hit 230 tap notes on the "Du Hast" song at the Neon Oasis venue as a guitarist.

All HOPOs Press Green(2), Blue, Green(3), Yellow, Green. This mode changes almost all notes into hammer-on/pull-off notes. Alternately, whammy sustain notes on the "Hurts So Good" song for at least 25 seconds total at the Club Boson venue as a guitarist.

Focus Mode Press Yellow, Green, Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Green(2). This mode blacks out the background. Alternately, hit 265 tom-tom notes on the "Brianstorm" song at the Golden Gate venue as a drummer to unlock Focus mode under the "Extras" menu.

Performance Mode Press Yellow(2), Blue, Red, Blue, Green, Red(2). This mode removes the track and HUD. Alternately, get a band multiplier with two players for 42 seconds on the "Bleed American" song at The Aqueduct venue to unlock Performance mode under the "Extras" menu.

HUD Free Mode Press Green, Red, Green(2), Yellow, Green(3). This mode removes the rock meter, star power gauge, and score display. Alternately, get "Excellent" on 75 consecutive phrases on the "Bring The Noise 20XX" song at the Neon Oasis venue as a vocalist to unlock HUD Free mode under "Extras" menu.

Invisible Characters Press Green, Red, Yellow(3), Blue(2), Green.

Air Instruments Press Red(2), Blue, Yellow, Green(3), Yellow. This mode makes all instruments almost invisible; however, the guitar strings can still be seen. Alternately, strum at least 340 chords on the "Sultans Of Swing" song at the O'Connel's Corner venue as a guitarist.

Contest Winner 1 Press Green(2), Red(2), Yellow, Red, Yellow, Blue.

Absolutely Nothing Press Red(2), Green(2), Blue(2), Yellow(2).

Wormhole Quickplay mode venue Get a 4X multiplier for 50 seconds on the "Play That Funky Music" song at the Sideshow venue as a guitarist to unlock the Wormhole Quickplay mode venue. Note: This venue is required for The Grand Tour.

Bonus characters Successfully complete the indicated task in Career mode to unlock the corresponding character:

Carlos Santana: Successfully complete the "No One To Depend On (Live)" song.
FrankenRocker: Successfully complete the Diamond challenge for A-Punk on bass.

Pro Face-Off mode Successfully complete Career mode on the Medium difficulty setting to unlock Pro Face-Off mode. This mode allows two players to play all the notes.

Use Scythe guitar with any character Unlock the Grim Reaper. Go to Career mode and choose him. Then, go to change your character and select anyone. It should say they are using the Scythe. Play a live show and they will be using it.
Unlock the Grim Ripper. Go to Career mode and choose him. Then, select another character whose alternate costume is already unlocked, and they will have the Scythe unless you change the guitar. Note: Since Clive Winston and Xavier Stone do not have an unlockable costume, they cannot play the Scythe.

Getting the Grim Ripper to play something other than the Scythe The following trick requires the Grim Ripper and two files (medium and hard). In your second file, set the Grim Ripper as your character. Then, go into your first file and play as someone else. Give him or her a new guitar. Go back to your second file. The Grim Ripper should now have another guitar other than the Scythe.
Unlock the Grim Ripper, select him in Career mode, then exit Career mode. Go to Quick Play mode, choose any song on any difficulty, and either finish the song or quit once it has started. Then, go back to Career mode, and the Grim Ripper will be playing the Gibson Les Paul with the Cherry Sunburst Classic skin. To make him play the Scythe again, simply select it in the "Change Guitar" menu.
Use the following trick to get the Grim Ripper to play a guitar from the original Guitar Hero. You must have the Grim Ripper, and two files (medium and hard) to do this trick. In your second file, set the Grim Ripper as your character. Then, go into your first file and play as someone else. Give him or her one of the unlockable guitars. Go back to your second file. The Grim Ripper should have a Gibson Les Paul Cherry Sunburst Classic (which is not available for purchase in Guitar Hero 2.

Cheat Guitar Hero III : Legend Of Rock

Cheat mode

Battle Lou in Expert mode with Easy mode notes When the battle with Lou starts at the end of the game on Expert mode, strum without holding any frets until you lose. At the "Game Over" screen, select "Tutorial". Pick the tutorial for Guitar Battle, and play through it until the "Lesson Complete" message appears. As soon as the next fret board appears, pause the game, and exit to return to the lesson menu. Then, press Red to return to the list of songs. The battle with Lou will be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou's notechart will now be set to Easy mode. Note: Your notechart will still be in Expert mode, but his will be in Easy mode.

Easier songs Before the beginning of the song (before the chords appear), move the Strum Bar Up and Down until the meter stops going down. Note: When the meter stops it will be in the red, and when the meter starts again it will be somewhere in the middle of the song.

Easier "Through The Fire And Flames" song Before you use Star Power when playing the song, pause the game. Hold Select, and resume the game. By doing this, you will not miss as many notes if you are going for a "Five Star" rank.
Before you start playing during the introduction, wrap a rubber band around Green. By doing this, you will not have to worry about holding Green, as it does it for you. Make sure you press the other buttons quickly so that Green can register. If you hold the buttons as you do the hammer-ons, Green will not register, and you will fail.

Hammering on and pulling off Hammering on and pulling off happens when you can strum on one note and successfully hit the notes that come after it without using the strum bar. Look for the single notes with white rings on top instead of black rings. As long as you hit the previous note, you can hit the next note by pressing the correct fret button. This is especially useful on songs like Cult Of Personality on the Hard difficulty.

Predator reference There is a reference to the movie Predator in the song "Helicopter". After playing the song, go to the "More Stats" screen, or to Practice mode, and get to the screen where you choose what section to play. One of the sections in the song is called "Get Back To The Choppa!!!", which seems to be a reference to Arnold Schwarzenneger's line in Predator, when they are all running away from the Predator.
